Snow Beauty Co. was born from a desire to enhance outward beauty and nurture inner confidence. I believe beauty brands should inspire you to embrace your unique appearance and passions. As Ashley Brooke (one of my favorite bloggers) puts it, "I love the way lipstick can completely change a look or the way highlighter can accentuate the cheekbones. But more than anything, I love the way makeup can make you feel confident and reflect the beauty within."

My conviction to create products that are not only beautiful, but also free of harmful chemicals came after researching frequently used cosmetic ingredients and seeing how many unhealthy chemicals there were. I had no idea I was putting toxic ingredients on my skin! Makeup has been around for hundreds of years, and it just seems unnecessary to include chemicals that could be harmful when nature provides ingredients that are good for us.  Ingredients like argan oil, containing fatty acids that help with acne and dry skin, castor oil, one of the main ingredients in our lipstick, which soothes and deeply conditions, and beeswax, a key ingredient in our certified organic lipbalm, which protects skin from the elements and adds a glossy shine.

My deep hope is to inspire women of all ages to build beauty and wellness into their lives through big dreams, hard work, intentional relationships, and lots of second chances.

We are so very excited to be welcoming our first child, a girl, in December. Follow along on our Instagram account @snowbeautyco for updates on our sweet Baby H! 

Hold onto your hat for this one! I am the second oldest of ten kids. Crazy, right? I don't know how my parents managed it but I am so glad they did. Richie always says that if you could open up my heart and see a picture of what's inside you'd find my family there. I just love them so much!

I was born, raised, and still live in Austin, Texas! I love traveling around the world, but at the end of the day I love my home state most of all.

Did you know that in addition to being a shop owner I am also a CPA? aka Certified Public Accountant, aka bean counter ;) Before starting Snow Beauty Co. I worked in accounting and finance for ten years. And I totally dig spreadsheets. 

My favorite thing to do is to explore new places and my dream vacation is to go on a trip to Europe with my whoooolllleee Snow family. Richie and I have enjoyed traveling together, and since being married have visited St. Lucia, England, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, Mexico, multiple states, and most recently enjoyed a tour of California down the Pacific Coast Highway.
